I was once a little girl from Taipei, Taiwan, with a vivid imagination and a habit of turning ideas into reality. No joke: I studied Structural Engineering, Theater & Dance, Business, Political Science, and later, Culinary Arts. I’ve always been the kid in a candy shop when it comes to learning—which, incidentally, is my middle name in Chinese (學).

Here’s the most important thing I learned: whether you’re building a bridge, a performance, a company, or a layer cake, the process is strangely similar. You imagine something first, then you build it. You trust your intuition, and then you make it manifest.
